Ephemeral installation : The Greenhouse in the city center of Casablanca, Arab League Park. 

​

Four contemporary artists are invited to invest the space-time of THE GREENHOUSE to develop a free project. Through their actions (performances, interventions and reflections), THE GREENHOUSE is simultaneously transformed into a workshop and receptacle for their artistic projects.

Every day, researchers, artists and directors come to talk or show their utopias, their dreamed, impossible, or ongoing projects. Looking to the future, they share their vision, but also their methods, their doubts, their obstacles, and lead us to certain questions. Why do some projects exist and others don't? What are the types of projects favored by the current cultural production system? Who believes in what projects? Who allows them to realize themselves, or not? What are the parameters that determine and condition our ways of thinking and creation?

 

Sound and written reproductions, led by curators, accompany and report on the process.

PROGRAM

 

The GREENHOUSE being above all a space for work and ongoing projects, it is partly based on a free and random programming, able to adapt and follow the proposals and progress of the artists and participants. The special programming will be displayed - and shared - every day.
