LES INVISIBLES | DE QUELQUES EVENEMNTS SANS SIGNIFICATION |LA PREMIERE FOIS A CASABLANCA
Après plus de 45 ans de son tournage dans différents quartiers casablancais , ‘’De quelques événements sans signification’’ (1974) de Mostapha Derkaoui et après plusieurs projections à Paris ,à Berlin,à Bologne,Marseille, Tatouan, Rabat et Marrakech; est finalement en avant première à Casablanca.
Du vendredi 16 au 19 Juillet, dans le cadre du Musée collectif de Casablanca et du projet de recherche ‘’Les invisibles”, qui retrace l’histoire visuelle marocaine oubliée, le film ‘’De quelques événements sans signification’’ au cinéma Rialto, Casablanca, avec la présence du réalisateur Mostapha Derkaoui et les acteurs du film .
Après une disparition des rushs du film ‘’De quelques événements sans signification” de Mustapha Derkaoui, l’atelier de l’observatoire pour honorer le cinéma marocain a restauré le film en collaborant avec Filmoteca de Catalunya,ainsi que la réalisation d’une résidence de production d’un court métrage “ Hors Champs” qui répond à la même problématique du film d’origine.
Le film est une réflexion sur quel cinéma pour le maroc de 1974? En s'inspirant du film ''De quelques événements sans signification'' , cinq jeunes cinéastes ont pu élaborer un scénario, où la réalité se croise avec l’imaginaire; une réalité vue par leurs yeux.Un regard extérieur qui chasse l’originalité d’un péri-urbain marginalisé.
Quel cinéma pour la maroc d’Aujourd’hui ? Comment protéger l’archive cinématographique marocain? Comment créer un lien visuel entre cinéma d’hier et d'aujourd'hui ?
Un open-talk sera ouvert juste après la projection du film, avec la présence des frères Derkaoui,les acteurs du film ainsi que les cinq jeunes cinéastes lauréats des écoles d’arts et du cinéma.
